Texans Love Burgers

Texans love a good hamburger. While a lot of Texans will profess their love for Whataburger or Wendy's, there's more than enough room on the playing field for McDonald's, Five Guys, and all the rest. I think if it wasn't for tacos, a lot of Texans would or could eat hamburgers seven days a week.

Texas Loves Burger King

There's always room in the burger equation for Burger King. That flame-grilled taste makes Burger King's burgers unique enough that they do quite well across Texas. Burger Kings Going Bust

The widespread success of Burger King makes it all the more surprising that 57 of the locations are in jeopardy. Jeopardy may be a strong word, but one franchisee with locations in Florida and Georgia has filed for bankruptcy. It appears problems for this group include an inability to bounce back from the pandemic.

Texas Burger Kings Should Be Fine

Don't worry about Burger King as large. While time, and the courts try to figure out this franchisee's problems, Burger King as a group showed a 1.5% growth in sales at the end of last year. They even outpaced where the experts thought they would be. So, it may be (temporary) bad news for Burger King fans in Georgia and Florida, but good news and great burgers for the rest of us around the world.
