Texas-Sized Appetites: The Weirdest Things Our Pets Ate
Texans have some tall tales to tell when it comes to their pets.
Texas Pet Snacks
Let's start out with some personal tales of what my dogs ate. I really need to say eaten, because it's hard to stop them. First off, I have a small dog who every once in a while can be spotted carrying a Q-Tip around in his mouth. It's hilarious, but also very gross (I've also got a taller trash can to prevent some of it). Our larger dog loves to go to the backyard and grab, crack and eat pecans and has taught the other dogs to do it as well. That larger dog also likes to eat Chinaberries.

That Wasn't That Bad
My story started out a little gross, but you don't know. Maybe you have an inkling, but we asked the question, "What Did Your Pet Eat?" and the answers run the gamut from hilarious, to maybe just-gag-a-little. Probably the most prevalent answer, and something you should think about is, a lot of dogs think a cat box is free snacks. One commenter on air even compared the cat mess mixed with cat letter to the old "Sno Caps Candy". I'd have to say, visually, that's a pretty good comparison.
