We've known for a while that Max Marusak can fly around the bases. His speed is well documented, but did you know that he can also fly through the air to make amazing catches?

If you didn't already know, you know now after he flew through the air on Wednesday afternoon in centerfield to make this catch in a Red Raiders win over the University of New Mexico.

That wasn't just a slick caption either, the Red Raiders center fielder for the afternoon actually did make it on to Sportscenter with the number two play of the day.

The Red Raiders whipped the Lobos 10-4 while utilizing their bullpen to the fullest throwing out 8 pitchers in the nine-inning game. Brendan Girton locked in the win, while Connor Queen finished the game off.

Offensively, Braxton Fulford and Cal Conely knocked in multiple-RBI on route to the big win.

Up next for Texas Tech is a road trip to Austin taking on the number one team in the Big 12 for a massive series with major implications for both teams in regards to the NCAA tournament.
