As I was flying into Dallas-Fort Worth airport Sunday, I got a really good view of some of the recent flooding there. I took the best pictures I could from 10,000 feet up. I think you'll get the idea.

What is most amazing to me is the Trinity River.

For those of you not familiar with the area look at those pictures closely. See that line of trees that look like they're in the middle of the river? That's usually as high as the river is. Those trees are usually on dry ground. And in some of the other pictures, if you look closely enough, you can see actual rapids.

And remember this is after the water has had a few days to recede. Just wow.
