Thunder in the Canyon This Weekend at Buffalo Springs Lake [VIDEO]

Where did the summer go? Seems like just yesterday we were all looking forward to long lazy days at the lake. Now we are talking about back to school shopping. If you're like me you feel like the summer has just flown by, and if you're like me you are longing for one last summer blow out before the cool weather begins to set back in.

Today, make your way out to Buffalo Springs Lake for the kick off of the Thunder in the Canyon boat races.

There is just something about drag boat racing everyone needs to experience at least once in their lifetime (and then you'll be hooked).

Head out to "the lake" today by 6:30 p.m. to check out the "Show N' Shine" event ($6.00 per person)

Saturday starting at 9:00 a.m. the qualifying runs begin ($15.00 per person) and on Sunday you will not want to miss the final runs starting at 10:00 a.m. ($20.00 per person) with awards following at 5:00.
