Two More Killer Shows Announced for Lubbock
Well, the ol' concert calendar is filling up.
Two of Lubbock's favorite bands are returning to the Hub City. First up, it's a hot August night with the guys from Smile Empty Soul. These fellas always bring it, and will do it against when they hit the stage at the Room of Doom on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021. Hearts & Hand Grenades
Next up is one of my favorite live acts, Powerman 5000 on Friday, September 17th, 2021 at Jake's Backroom.
Powerman's gig right before the pandemic was a thing was one of the finest rock shows I have ever seen, anywhere. It was just pure joy and pure energy. Powerman 5000 is fun, and I recommend them anytime for a great night of rock. If you can think of a better way to spend a Friday night, then I'd like to hear about it.
So how do you like where we're at so far? We have the legendary Corey Taylor coming to town, the hottest new rock from Dirty Honey, plus a couple of Lubbock favorites. Coming soon will be an announcement on the lineup for the 4B Bike & Musicfest and maybe a rescheduled event that I can't quite talk about just yet. So there you go, it's a little bit of everything trickling back into the Hub. So, just in case you're having graphics issues, let's lay this out old school.
Smile Empty Soul with Hearts & Hand Grenades, Wednesday, August 11th
Powerman 5000 (support TBA), Friday, September 17th
