Tyler Clary Blasts Micheal Phelps Over Training “Ethic”

Remember a few weeks ago in the Olympic trials Phelps, a 14 time gold medalist, beat Clary in the 200 meter butterfly by 1.5 seconds which in swimming is huge.

Well even though Clary's time was good enough to earn him a spot on the team he still seems to have some bitter feelings towards Phelps for beating him.

In a recent interview Clary blasted Phelps saying "Phelps doesn't train hard in practice and that he resents that Phelps has so much talent but does not have the work ethic to go along with it."

Now I don't know about you but to me it sounds like the dude is just a bad sport and a poor loser!

Rather than focusing on his own spot on the team and working on his training he is taking time out of his workouts to blast his teammate.

I guess in a few weeks we will see who the true top dog is, and how each of these guys "work ethics" in the pool pays off.

Personally I'm hoping Phelps smokes that little punk for running his mouth rather than supporting his entire team!
