United Supermarkets Steps Up For Families In Need

A whole bunch of people will have a Thanksgiving turkey thanks to United Supermarkets.

United donated nearly 600 turkeys to the Dream Center of Lubbock. The Dream Center packed the birds with some sides for people in need and for some lucky L.I.S.D. teachers. The Dream Centers' central mission is to help people with basic needs so they can elevate themselves beyond that point.

I wouldn't doubt that this is just one of many charitable partnerships that United has been a part of this year. United has never been one to toot their own horn, especially when it comes to community involvement, but what they do in Lubbock and what they do for Lubbock on a day to day basis is heroic.
