Come on, guys. Almost everyone in town has a doorbell camera these days, and sooner or later you will be caught.

Was it really worth it to steal all the change in someone's vehicle console? Did that $50 air compressor you snagged from an old man's garage really change your life? How do you continue to rob people knowing full well that you're probably going to be caught on camera doing it?

The saddest part about this video is that the kid checking the car door looks really young. He grabs the door with his t-shirt, likely to avoid leaving fingerprints, but looks directly at the camera and basically gives himself away in two seconds. What an idiot.

Do you recognize the person in this Facebook video posted to the Operation Crime Watch page? This occurred at 2:30 a.m. near Erskine and Frankford this morning, April 25th, 2022.

It feels like our crime rates are just soaring in Lubbock, and that's because they are. Lubbock is currently among the most dangerous U.S. Metro Areas.

If you don't already have some kind of security camera system at your house, it's definitely time to invest in one. It won't really stop the extra stupid criminals, but at least you'll be able to give some information to the police when you inevitably get robbed while you are asleep in your bed.

It also might be a good time to talk to your teenagers about the reality of a life spent in and out of jail. It's such a waste.
