VIDEO: Man Narrowly Misses Being Hit By Exploding Pool Pump in Plano

Security footage captured a crazy video of a man narrowly missing being smacked in the face by an exploding pool pump in Plano, Texas. Freezing temperatures this past Sunday took a toll on the pump, and the owner attempted to warm it up with an industrial heater.

He said the explosion was similar to what you would see if Elon Musk launched a rocket from his home. That's a pretty good description. Ha! This guy is lucky to have his head! Check out the crazy video below:

Pretty wild, huh? According to WFAA, the explosion occurred when the top of the filter pod broke loose after he turned the pump back on.
