The madness wasn't quite over like we apparently thought it was, as the men's basketball National Championship between North Carolina and Villanova came down to the absolute wire. Nova's Kris Jenkins hit the game-winning three at the horn to seal the school's second championship.

Throughout the first half UNC was able to get the advantage over Nova's stingy defense, going into the break with a five-point lead, 39-34.

Jay Wright's Wildcats came out of the locker room with an adjusted attitude and was able to chip away at the Tar Heels, getting UNC to succumb to the defensive pressure.

Nova had the lead with less than ten seconds to go, but Marcus Paige hit a three to tie it up in what appeared to be a ticket straight to overtime.

Kris Jenkins had other ideas and hit the buzzer beater to take the #2 seed to the top. Congrats to Villanova on the win, and of course, to UNC for making it to the 'ship.

Until next year, folks.
