Texas tastebuds better get ready for big drops from Wendy's.

Texans Love Wendy's

I am a somewhat recent convert to Wendy's Frostys. I don't know what was up, but I always thought they were milkshakes. I then dropped by when they introduced their limited edition strawberry and I've been with them ever since. I have experienced the pumpkin, triple-berry, peppermint, salted caramel, orange dreamsicle , pineapple under the sea (a Spongebob collab) and both version of the Thin Mints, one with vanilla ice cream and the other with chocolate. Yes, I've tasted them all.

Two New Products

Now Wendy's has confirmed that there will be two new ways to enjoy Frostys. They will be introducing Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions. The Swirl would be much like a sundae with a flavor syrup mixed into the ice cream, the Fusion would be the same but other items like candy or fruit mixed in.

We Saw The Future

Wendy's actually "telegraphed" this move with the new Thin Mint Frosty. To the best of my recollection all previous Frosty's featured pre-flavored ice cream. To my delight, I watched them flip the scrip when I say them swirling the Thin Mint sauce into thier standard vanilla or chocolate Frosty ice cream.

Unlimited Possibilities

Just changing over to swirls of flavors or mix-ins gives Wendy's the possibility of an unlimited amount of combinations. Doing things this way is a bit of a no-brainer and very welcome even if we have to give up a full flavored chocolate of pumpkin spice ice cream. Wendy's is about to take us all on some ice cream adventures and I'm all about it! Right now the swirls are scheduled to land on April 15th, with the Fusions dropping on May 12th.
