Tonight, in the line at the store the person behind me was coughing and sneezing all over my back. I looked around to try to find another line, but it seemed I was the only person in the entire store who was not sick or buying medicine for someone who was.

By the time I got up to the checker, I had picked up several small bottles of hand sanitizer and was considering a can of Lysol...

Chances are if you or someone in your house don't have the flu, or some other crud yet, it's coming your way soon. With that in mind, I thought I would share a few places you probably have never thought to clean where germs could be hiding out just waiting to make you their next victim.

If you have ever had strep throat you already know to change your toothbrush since the germs can live on it, but what about places like the nozzle on the gas pump, or the debit card machine you used to enter your pin number to pay for your groceries.

Ladies, your purses, your rings, even your shoes, all can carry the flu virus for hours. Guys your wallets, your keys, and cell phones all are places most of us never think to clean.

With so many people sick right now you can't be too careful, wash your hands, carry hand sanitizer with you wherever you go, and use disinfectant spray and wipes on everything.

That will be $179.00 per person, the bill is in the mail... You're all welcome! Just call me nurse Nancy...
