Wolfforth Is Finally Getting A Full Sized Grocery Option, Thanks To United
If you Google "Wolfforth grocery stores" right now, you get directed to Lubbock stores, or the Wolfforth Farmers Market (which is amazing, but only open one day a week), or Dollar General.
Wolfforth has been growing and expanding, and deserves a full-fledged grocery store. And thanks to United, that will happen very soon.
Where Will The Wolfforth United Store Be?
The new Wolfforth United will be constructed near the existing United Express (1110 Donald Preston Dr), where folks can already grab drinks, snacks, eats, and fuel up.

Construction is planned to begin in the Spring of 2026, per a news release from United. The new location "will have the greatest and latest innovations United Supermarkets has to offer, with guest service at the top of mind."
What Can We Expect At The New Wolfforth United?
The new United will have a full-service pharmacy with a drive-thru, online grocery ordering and pickup/ delivery through Streetside, a floral department, a bakery department, a full-service meat market, and Ready Meals.

Basically, everything you can get at our Lubbock Uniteds.
In addition to convenience, the new store will bring plenty of new jobs to Wolfforth, too.
Where Is The Closet United To Wolfforth Now?
It's a coin toss between 114th & Slide United or 98th & Quaker Market Street, both stores I attend frequently as someone who lives a hat's toss away from Wolfforth. Both stores are big, beautiful, and offer everything you could want from a grocery store.
What's Next For Wolfforth?
The possibilities for Wolfforth feel endless right now. I'm hoping they get a nice, big public pool and then Lubbock takes notes.
