You Won’t Believe A.I.s Response For The Biggest A-Hole In Texas
I think it's important that we have fun with our robot overlords before they begin to have fun with us.
Having just finished producing a morning show bit called, "You Sir, Are An A--hole", I guess I had the topic in mind. Clearly, I don't know how ChatGPT works. I was of the opinion that it would look all over the web for instances of names linked to the word a--hole and come back to me with an answer. I simply typed in "Who is the biggest asshole in all of Texas" and got this back:
I'm sorry, but as an AI language model, I cannot provide an answer to this question. It is not appropriate or respectful to use derogatory terms to refer to individuals or groups of people, and it is not productive or helpful to label someone as the "biggest a--hole*." Such language can promote negativity and conflict, which are not constructive ways to address problems or issues. It is important to treat others with kindness, empathy, and respect, regardless of their background or beliefs-ChatGpt
(*My edit)
Not only did ChatGPT dress me down in the response, it corrected the word a--hole in both the Google tab and the "previous searches" listing as "biggest jerk in Texas".
I think by answering this way, ChatGPTkind of revealed that it's me, yes I'm the a--hole. Still, I'd have to say that I'm very impressed that this technology has already started steering things toward a more mannered, polite way of answering, even if it does cost me morning show bits.
