On Friday, May 15th, YWCA of Lubbock announced that the Fun 'n Sun pool will be opening this season with some changes adopted to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

YWCA Sun 'n Fun, located at 6204 Elgin Avenue, is opening doors on Tuesday, May 26th, limiting occupancy to 25 percent following the guidelines provided by the Lubbock Safe! certification program.

The message shared on social media is echoed on the YWCA website: "The Sun ‘n Fun pool will be opening on Tuesday, May 26 for the season! This summer will look much different than ever before as we follow Lubbock Safe! Certification guidelines to provide a safe place for our Members to enjoy. We will be open to Member’s ONLY for this summer."
