FMX Welcomes That Little Ol’ Band From Texas, ZZ Top
ZZ Top is returning to the Hub City.
The Show
We just can't get enough of the Texas rock! The Reverend Billy G brings the Texas three to the Buddy Holly Hall on November 24th. That's the Sunday night before Thanksgiving, so get your relatives to town early to come enjoy the show. This band still delivers an absolute bar-burner of a performance mixing Texas blues and occasionally funky, southern hard rock.
The Return
The return of ZZ Top is almost exactly three years after their last appearance. The band did two shows on November 27th and 28th at Buddy Holly Hall. Of course, since the pandemic all time has melted, so sometimes it's hard to remember if things happened yesterday or three years ago.
Get Tickets
Tickets for ZZ Top go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. There is no advertised support for this tour, but then again, if you go to see ZZ Top, do you want to see anyone other than ZZ Top?
The Road
The band is about to hit several Scandinavian and European countries before returning to the U.S. In fact, I don't know that there's a time when ZZ Top is not touring. The band has sold over 50 million albums and been around since 1969. They have appeared many times in Lubbock, most notably bringing along Lynryd Skynryd for an epic night of southern rock at the old Lubbock Coliseum.
