Deftones to Rock the 35th FMX Birthday Bash

We could not be more pleased with the band we landed for the 35th FMX Birthday Bash. Chino and the boys from Deftones are set to bring their full show to town for the celebration.

The FMX Birthday Bash has been through so many incarnations it's hard to choose which we like best. We've done the "party with a hot band" and the all-day festival, too.

For our 35th Anniversary, it's kind of awesome to hit that "party with the family" kind of vibe again.

According to the promoter, we've never really seen a full Deftones show here. Apparently, all we've ever had were co-headlining or festival-shortened sets.

While you can't predict what the actual set will be, the Deftones have been known to kick out 15-20 songs in a headlining set. The show will be Thursday, March 24, 2016. Hopefully you can take the Friday off after and make a weekend of it.

Tickets will go on sale Friday (Jan. 29) here. The base ticket price is around $35 (plus service charges) in honor of our 35th birthday.

The opening act or acts will be announced later.
