Watch Deftones Surprise Cult Leader With Cookies & Drinks in Lubbock [Video]

We're sure there's some sort of inside joke here, but that didn't stop the crowd at the 35th FMX Birthday Bash from getting a laugh when Chino and Deftones hopped on stage with cookies and drinks for opening act Cult Leader.

"These dudes are f---ing awesome, and this has been a dream come true for us," Cult Leader singer Anthony Lucero told the crowd during the fun onstage moment. "This band has been a very big part of all of our lives for a long time, so this is absolutely f---ing awesome for us to be here. Cheers. Salut!"

After Deftones left the stage, some crowd members lucked out and got some cookies (Nutter Butters) handed to them by Lucero. He must have heard about Lubbock being the friendliest city in America.
