nightmares

I just go lucky kids!  Here with just 300 hits (as of this writing).  Here's what I know about the plot.  It supposedly picks up right after where the original 1974 Texas Chainsaw Massacre left off.  Or, if you prefer, a young woman inherits a house and finds out that she inherited Leatherface as well.  Wowza!  Trailer after the jump.

I heard about this movie over at Bloody Disgusting or Ain't It Cool, I just now caught up with it on cable. It's a Cuban zombie flick called "Juan Of The Dead".  It's a great look at modern day Cuba tied together with a great, comedic zombie flick. There's only one problem (for some of you), it's subtitled.  More after the jump.

Cockney's are basically the 'working class' in London's East End.  Yeah, I don't really know what that means either.  I just know they have really funny accents and use weird words and sayings.  It's no matter, this movie should actually, probably, be called "Old People Versus Zombies" because that appears to be the best part of the movie.  More after the jump.

You have to be a fan of "mixed genre" stuff to truly enjoy it.  For instance, you have to be able to accept President Lincoln as a Vampire hunter, or Aliens in the Old West.  "Exit Humanity" is 'Civil War Zombies".   If you made it past the line "Civil War Zombies" and you're still interested, then read on after the jump.

It's got to the point where everybody either saves, or get's something ready for Comic-Con.  That makes this the perfect time a year for those of us who love horror, superheros or even gaming.  This year among the many things released was a trailer for the new season of "The Walking Dead."

Oh man, I'm ready for some Dexter.  We have until September 30th until it debuts but they've been putting out some cool promotional stuff.  Check out the new promo and some Dexter memes after the jump.

I think most of us wait until most movies make it to cable or Red Box. You have precious few dollars to spend at the theater, so the real question after the becomes 'is it worth my time'.  Well, one of the biggest problems with watching this movie at home is it not being shown in 3d.  More after the jump.

I had a chat with a listener once.  He said he had just seen Tool and he felt like he'd never need to ever see a concert again. He found the experience so awesome and so unmatchable it was just pointless to even try.  That is how I feel about Prometheus.  More after the jump.

I loved the original "Fright Night".  It mixed comedy with some genuinely scaring ideas.  Seriously, who would you call for help if you thought a vampire was eating your neighborhood?  The remake, sorry to say, is better than the original.  The original mixed a little goofy with a little scary, the remake mixes really funny with very scary.  More after the jump.

Man I like the looks of this movie.  The thing I like best is that it doesn't look all computer generated and stuff, it looks more "organic" (which is a strange thing for a movie essentially about a robot).  I also like how the robot has got a cool steampunk vibe even thought the movie apparently takes place in our near future.  More after the jump.

Cabin in the Woods got me back in the theater. I'm going to see Prometheus next week. I think Sinister is going to be the next one I HAVE to see on the big screen. I keep up with all the horror movie news and somehow I never heard a peep about his one. If the actual movie is ANYTHING like this trailer, it's going to be a scary ride.
