nightmares

As of today, we are 38 days away from preview night at "Nightmare On 19th Street", so I thought it time to give you a little bit more than pictures of our progress.  This year "Nightmare" (hereafter abbreviated to -N-, which is how we refer to it) has added a whole other attraction.  We've always gotten comments that people love our psychotic deranged hillbillies, so we are taking what you love and making it even more twisted and messed up.  This year you will travel through part of our existing "Badgerville" and end up at the mouth of a town called "Skull-Lick" Texas.  Yes, we built an entire town.  More after the jump.

Cockney's are basically the 'working class' in London's East End.  Yeah, I don't really know what that means either.  I just know they have really funny accents and use weird words and sayings.  It's no matter, this movie should actually, probably, be called "Old People Versus Zombies" because that appears to be the best part of the movie.  More after the jump.

I think most of us wait until most movies make it to cable or Red Box. You have precious few dollars to spend at the theater, so the real question after the becomes 'is it worth my time'.  Well, one of the biggest problems with watching this movie at home is it not being shown in 3d.  More after the jump.

I had a chat with a listener once.  He said he had just seen Tool and he felt like he'd never need to ever see a concert again. He found the experience so awesome and so unmatchable it was just pointless to even try.  That is how I feel about Prometheus.  More after the jump.

I loved the original "Fright Night".  It mixed comedy with some genuinely scaring ideas.  Seriously, who would you call for help if you thought a vampire was eating your neighborhood?  The remake, sorry to say, is better than the original.  The original mixed a little goofy with a little scary, the remake mixes really funny with very scary.  More after the jump.

Man I like the looks of this movie.  The thing I like best is that it doesn't look all computer generated and stuff, it looks more "organic" (which is a strange thing for a movie essentially about a robot).  I also like how the robot has got a cool steampunk vibe even thought the movie apparently takes place in our near future.  More after the jump.

Cabin in the Woods got me back in the theater. I'm going to see Prometheus next week. I think Sinister is going to be the next one I HAVE to see on the big screen. I keep up with all the horror movie news and somehow I never heard a peep about his one. If the actual movie is ANYTHING like this trailer, it's going to be a scary ride.

Who doesn't love a good ghost story?  "The Pact" appears (at least in the trailers) to have the making of a good ghost story.  At least it seems like a ghost story with or heroine being thrown all over.  Now I put a picture of a scary chick with this story, but the star is hubba hubba hotties Caity Lotz (formerly of the MTV show "Death Valley").  More after the jump.

Dark Shadows didn't get me off my ass.  Prometheus WILL get me off my ass and into a theater.  I'm am very excited about the first two movies, but this 'prequel' of sorts to the Alien franchise SCREAMS big screen to me.  I've got the trailer and more for you after the jump.
