Last week, I presented my review for Stone Sour's latest album "House of Gold and Bones Part 1" and the new album has done quite well, selling 31,000 copies in its first week on shelves.

Stone Sour played a special hometown show at a place called Wooly's in Des Moines, Iowa. The opening act was Painface, a band fronted by singer Anders Colsefini. Anders was the original singer for Slipknot, and he left for whatever reason he had at the time. He was replaced by Corey Taylor after his departure in 1997. The rest is rock history.

I never thought that cd cases and covers would get so intricate that we would need an instructional video. I was wrong.

Stone Sour recently threw down in their hometown of Des Moines, Iowa for a CD release party for their new album "house of Gold And Bones Part 1" which you can check out here.

Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour recently sat down with MetroSverige to talk about his favorite tattoos.

I popped this album in today and gave it a full listen, and I have to tell you, this album is absolutely killer.

Stone Sour will be releasing the first part of their new album "House Of Gold And Bones" on October 22nd and the second part in the spring of 2013 as well the comic book do go with the album. Now what makes this totally cool is what you can do with the CD when you purchase it.
