Smokin' X Pitmaster, John Reeves stopped by the FMX studio this week to tell us about the BBQ Meat Science Spring Cooking Class hosted by Red Raider Meats and Green Mountain Grills.

The class will be held on Sunday, April 28th from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the Gordon W. Davis Meat Lab on the campus of Texas Tech located at 1308 Indiana Ave.  This season's class will focus on "Everything Pork".  Pitmasters will instruct class participants in the science behind meat and BBQ and give simple and delicious recipes for the upcoming grilling season.

The cost per person is $99.  Ingredients are provided in the cost for the class and participants are encouraged to eat what they cook so you should come hungry and ready to learn! More information for the class can be found on their website.
