What Does Blue Bell's Groom's Cake Taste Like?

If you're like me, when you think "groom cake," the first image that pops into your head is the armadillo cake from Steel Magnolias. Which I believe was a red velvet flavor.

For Blue Bell, Groom's Cake is a chocolatey delight that reflects most every groom's cake I've tasted in real life.

Its base is milk chocolate ice cream, and it is topped with chocolate cake pieces, chocolate-covered strawberry hearts, strawberry sauce, and chocolate icing. Yum!

We, the people, brought Groom's Cake back! After a bracket-style challenge (the Great Scoop Revival Flavor Tournament) pitted Blue Bell's most beloved former flavors against each other, two winners emerged—Groom's Cake and Cookie Cake (we really like cake).

Don't worry if your favorite bygone flavor didn't win, because according to a press release by Blue Bell, another flavor tournament is planned for the future. C'mon Key Lime Pie! Or Strawberry Cheesecake! Or Cherry Amaretto Cordial! Or..or..or...
