Have you heard about the Blue Bell Scoop Tour? If not, it may be because no events are currently scheduled anywhere near us.

I’m writing this completely out of jealousy, so let’s get right to it. Blue Bell is traveling around Texas handing out free hand-scooped ice cream, frozen treats, and giveaways — and so far, the Hub City hasn’t made the list. To be fair, it’s mostly been a Central and South Texas thing up to this point. Lubbock isn’t alone either, because even Dallas hasn’t popped up on the schedule yet.

More Dates Could Still Be Coming

The delicious dates currently listed only run through July 3rd, so there’s still hope. In fact, the company is teasing that “more dates are coming soon.” That tiny bit of hope is exactly why I’m over here metaphorically waving my arms like a lunatic trying to get somebody at Blue Bell to notice us.

And honestly, why not Lubbock? The Hub City has a history of showing up for food, fun and free samples.

It’s Already Been A Great Year For Blue Bell Fans

It’s also been a pretty loaded year for Blue Bell fans. Between Brookie A La Mode, Honey Vanilla, and the return of Peaches & Homemade Vanilla, they’ve been keeping ice cream lovers very busy. They even rolled out Blue Bell Pro, a high-protein option for people who want dessert and gym credibility at the same time.

Now all we need is an actual visit from the Scoop Tour team.

Dear Blue Bell: Come See Us

May I also suggest a stop by your favorite local radio stations while you’re at it?

When it comes to Blue Bell, people around here are absolutely all in. Hopefully Lubbock lands on the next round of Scoop Tour dates — because the Hub City deserves a scoop too.
