Brooklyn Pizzeria & Wing Bar Soft Opens in Lubbock
Brooklyn Pizzeria & Wing Bar (5217 98th Street #600) announced on their Facebook page that they've "soft" opened.
We will be running our "soft" opening this week 4pm-9pm, Thursday-Saturday. Please stop by and let us know what you think. Hope to see y'all soon! UberEats for delivery.
In case you're unaware, a soft opening is a smart tactic new restaurants use to work out any equipment, supply or personnel kinks before a Grand Opening. Restaurants may have a limited menu at this time, so if you order at one during their soft opening, please have some patience. Constructive feedback is also generally encouraged.
Looking over their online menu, I see plenty of exciting options, like Panko Fried Ravioli, Caprese Salad, wings, calzones, and pizza. They also have beers and wines available.
Brooklyn Pizzeria has other Texas locations, including four Austin locations, a location in Round Rock, Padre Island and in Corpus Christi. It's exciting that Lubbock was the next location to open.
What could be in store for our Lubbock store? Looking at the Austin locations, they have incredible-looking cheesecakes, including, I kid you not, a cheesecake special that is maple bacon with a waffle layer. Yes, please! I also see incredible combo deals and drink specials.
It's easy to think that Lubbock could do without another new restaurant, but unique eateries are always welcome here in my opinion. I'm excited for this taste of New York via Austin to be here. But I may keep nagging them to bring the cheesecake along with the pizzas and wings.
