Update: We've gotten word from J&B Productions that 50 more tickets to Corey Taylor's sold-out Lubbock concert on May 20th have been released. These can be purchased online at StubWire beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 14th.

Original story: CMFT Can't Be Stopped!

If there was ever a guy to bring rock back, it's Corey mutha-f'n Taylor.

The Stone Sour and Slipknot frontman is doing his own thing for a bit and we're pumped to have him do it here. Unfortunately, I have to tell you that the show is now sold out. I'm sorry, but there weren't that many tickets to begin with. You might just want to see if you have a friend or an acquaintance that bought tickets but can't make it.

Also remember that you're not totally out of luck, because we still have a few pairs of tickets to pass along. FMX VIPs can enter to win a pair of tickets to the sold-out show right here. If you have the FMX app, we'll also have some chances to win tickets in the near-future. Download the FMX app now and turn on push notifications so you don't miss out when that happens.

There's also another ray of hope. Taylor's management has been approached about moving the show from inside the pavilion to outdoors. It would still be table seating and all COVID-19 restrictions would still be in place, but there's a ton more room out there. Cross your fingers and hope this happens.

Corey Taylor will headline at the Pavilion at the Lone Star Events Center on May 20th, 2021. His special guest will be Cherry Bombs. Now, if you're uninitiated like me,  Cherry Bombs are not a band, but a dance troupe of some very talented ladies.

Keep in mind that even though you may have tickets that certain restrictions are in effect for this show. You will be table seated and you must stay with your group.

We're told that if everything is firing on all cylinders, Corey will play for about two hours. Now, don't hold us to that, but that's kind of the plan. He has all of his solo stuff, covers, Slipknot and Stone Sour songs to choose from. Though none of it is promised, we hope to hear a good cross-section of his career.
