Dairy Queen Releases SIX Summertime Blizzard Flavors In Texas

Can you even see the letters "DQ" without "that's what I like about Texas!" playing in your brain?

Me neither. Dairy Queen is iconic in the Lone Star State. We have more Dairy Queens than any other state- 581!

I have so many happy memories of getting treats there as a kid with my parents and grandparents. There are so many satisfying treats and eats- from the Dude sandwich to Dilly Bars.

However, the most famous treat from Dairy Queen has to be their signature Blizzards. Soft serve vanilla ice cream blended with tasty add-ins- and so thick that your server can turn it upside down.

In time for Summer, Dairy Queen has released some incredible seasonal flavors including three new flavors: Picnic Peach Cobbler, Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Party, and Ultimate Cookie.

Picnic Peach Cobbler is a "world-famous DQ® soft serve, peach topping, and buttery cobbler pieces," as per their press release about the item.  That sounds like the perfect Summer treat for a Southerner, especially a Texan. We sure love our cobblers.

Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Party is "rich chocolate chip cookie dough and smooth peanut brittle crunch with sprinkles." Decadent!

Ultimate Cookie is a "medley of OREO®, CHIPS AHOY!® and NUTTER BUTTER®," because they must have been serious when they said "ultimate." 

In addition to these new flavors, Dairy Queen is also releasing Frosted Animal Cookie (my favorite last year!), Cotton Candy and Brownie Batter.
