Don’t Miss Out on Lubbock Favorite Musician Dustin Garrett Live This Weekend

Long-time local musician Dustin Garrett will be playing a trifecta of shows over the weekend in Lubbock that you won't want to miss.

If you're from Lubbock, chances are you've seen Garrett perform since he was a young child. I even remember buying his first album at Hastings (Rest in Peace) when I was little. He's been a friend of mine for a long time. In fact, he took me on a date to see Hillary Duff when we were 12 or 13 years old.

He isn't around these parts very often these days because he's currently playing music with Grammy Award-winner Rick Trevino and spends most of his weekdays touring. Having him in town on the weekends is a special treat. He puts on a great show, so if you have time please head out to support him.

You'll find him playing at the Back 40 Grill on Friday, July 22nd at 8 p.m. with Electric "Country" Mambo, then The Cactus Theater at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 23rd with Rick Trevino.

If you can't make those shows, you'll still be able to see him at The Funky Door on Sunday, July 24th at 11 a.m. for a brunch show where he'll be playing acoustic solo. Nothing goes better with brunch than great music.
