Do you have a special talent? Buddy Holly Hall and the Make-A-Wish Foundation are offering a $5000 prize for the winner of an upcoming talent competition. The most talented individuals in our area are invited to show off just how awesome they are for a chance to win big...and maybe...just maybe...you have what it takes!

The application deadline to enter the 'Stars of The South Plains' Lubbock Talent Show is January 21st, so act fast if you think you might have a shot at the grand prize.

I told my morning show partner this morning that we should enter it together. He was not on board. Haha. I think I might enter the competition on my own. I've got a few original songs that I think the judges might like. You never know.

Then again, if I do get through the vetting process, I'll probably still lose to someone who can unicycle, play the harmonica, and drink a glass of water, all at the same time.
