Facebook Zucced Me Today, and Honestly, I Needed the Break

I got Zucced on Facebook today. No more silly posts, unhelpful comments or snarky clap back from your girl. For the next 23-ish hours, anyway. I committed a crime, and now I gotta do the time.

In case you're wondering, I got in trouble for posting that someone should throw 4 or 5 Xanax in my mouth because I'm stressed out. The Facebook Virtual Overlords thought I was asking to buy or borrow Xanax, so they shut me down so completely I can't even heart react a picture of a beagle puppy. BTW, I have a prescription for Xanax, so clearly I wasn't on the prowl.

Honestly, I needed the break, and chances are, you do, too. It fills a social need which is positively aching for most of us, but it's also full of unhelpful noise. I mean, it always is, but we're all going through a scary and traumatic time and could probably use a break from hearing about it 24/7. I think I'll call my mom instead.

If you lack self-control and have to zucc yourself to put the Facebook down, just use the code word XANAX in your post and they'll do it for you. It's fun and easy! Actually, don't do that, I don't want anyone else to get spanked like I did.

Take care of yourself mentally and physically. We're going to get through this, with or without any Xanax.
