Five Songs For A Helluva Good Time [VIDEO]
This is list is just because I was in a Halloween mood. You really shouldn't read any more into it that. I find the concept of hell ridiculous, but that's a different blog.
So in an attempt to be 'edgy' or stir people up a bit, the word "hell" and sometimes the concept of an actual hell have been broached by rockers. AC/DC leads the pack with three songs that are or were popular with hell in the title. For the purpose of this blog, I only picked their biggest.
So here you go, the top 5 Hellacious songs!
5. Alice Cooper-Go To Hell. This one may be a bit too old school for you guys, but it's actually quite a fun and to a degree funny song. Give it a shot!
4. Judas Priest-Hell Bent For Leather. This Priest classic is most notable for the way it comes in line a ton of bricks. It features one of the most hard hitting intros ever recorded in the history of rock or metal.
3. Pantera-Cowboys From Hell. You didn't think I was going to leave Dime and the boys of the list did ya? Great riffages, cool lyrics and fantastic imagery.
2. Black Sabbath-Heaven And Hell. The original creepsters have to make this list for this track they did when Ronnie James Dio was their frontman. It's simply epic metal.
1. AC/DC-Highway To Hell. I don't think this was ever in any doubt of being number one on this list. This is what rock is about, rebellion and that f@#k it attitude.
So how about some honorable mentions? AC/DC also has "Hell's Bell's" and "Hell Ain't A Bad Place To Be". Pink Floyd has "Run Like Hell" and our Texas boys ZZ Top check in with "Beer Drinkers And Hell Raisers".
