94.5 FMX Welcomes Sublime With Rome and Dirty Heads

Well, this one will sure be fun. Two perfect summertime bands are teaming up for a very unique show.

This sounds fresh, fun, and exciting. Sublime with Rome and Dirty Heads will headline the party of the summer at the Lonestar Events Center. I'm thinking cool jams, cool people, and hopefully cool breezes on September 6th, 2021.

What can I say about Sublime? They are one of our most important artists. They sprang from the grunge era as an alternative to grunge. Let's check out that song list: "What I Got," "Santeria," "Doin' Time," "Smoke Two Joints," and "Wrong Way." That's a lot of big songs from one band.

On the other side of the coin is Dirty Heads, which lead a similar party vibe and are actually bigger than Sublime in some circles. These are just cool jams that I can already hear echoing across the bowl of the amphitheater.

This is being promoted as the High & Mighty Tour, so the guys are expected to bring the fun. Although it's a couple of weeks from the end of summer (September 22nd is officially the end of the season), it should still put a nice bookend on our season back outside.
