Frenship ISD will be offering free meals for all children 18 years old and younger for Summer 2021.

In a Frenship ISD news release, they said that the district would be teaming up with Aramark, a food service, facilities and uniform services provider.

Starting on Tuesday, June 1st, families will be able to pick up food bags once a week for every one of their children. All children are welcome to obtain the food bags, and they don't even have to be a Frenship ISD student. These bags will contain breakfast and lunch that should last 7 days.

These food bags will be available for pickup at Westwind Elementary School at 6401 43rd Street in Lubbock and the FHS Ninth Grade Center at 407 N Dowden in Wolfforth. Bags will be available every Tuesday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Frenship ISD Director of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Keith Patrick said:

"Frenship ISD is proud to join Aramark in doing our part to help ensure that no child from 0-18 goes hungry over the summer months," said Keith Patrick, Frenship ISD director of entrepreneurship and innovation. "This programs is a tangible way we can help provide an added layer of support for families across the entire area and we're extremely proud to continue it through this summer."
