[Gallery] These Businesses Made Growing Up In Lubbock Awesome

Growing up in Lubbock was pretty sweet. We had a lot of kid-friendly businesses that really made it fun to live here. Some of them are long gone now, but a handful are still around and just as popular as ever.

I think my favorite place to hang out was probably Copper Caboose. I'd say they are basically responsible for me making good grades on my report card because A's and B's meant free gaming tokens! My mom would always remind me to study hard so that we could go there and have a good time.
