Halo Resurfaces For Gamers Worldwide
Over the past decade, I've seen my own son become consumed with this series of games that just looked pretty damn awesome. Turns out, lots of people think it's awesome and there's a slew of "new" games hitting the market yet again.
Halo has captured the gaming community in its grasp and isn't letting go. The series is returning with a collection of past entries in a revamped manner entitled Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
This time, all four games that fully feature the game's famous main character Master Chief, or John-117 as he is also known, are being re-released for the Xbox One in original form with a facelift. That graphical update supposedly has made the games even better.
You can play through the "Anniversary Editions" of both Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 as well as the other two in the saga, Halo 3 and Halo 4. These four games were from the original Xbox and the Xbox 360, respectively, so this is a big deal for new owners of an Xbox One who can't play some of their old favorites from the past on the current console.
If you're thinking about a good Christmas gift for the gamer in your family, look no further...unless he or she already has it. The game officially hits stores today.
