The start of school means that Halloween is just around the corner. With the enormous changes to social behavior and available supplies, it's time to start thinking about costumes and accessories now.

FACT: if you're a true lover of all things haunt, you started to consider your costume for 2020 on November 1st, 2019 -- or even earlier. But everyone gets a pass this year.

It would be a sad day if trick or treating and haunted houses were no longer an essential part of Halloween festivities. Haunt season is all about putting on a mask so things shouldn't seem too much different with the exception of shopping and attending events.

So what is a girl (or guy) to do if we want to kick fall into high gear and enjoy the season, as always, with safety being a top priority? We mask up and do it better than anyone else.

Here are some of my suggestions for you to nab before they are sold out or no longer able to be shipped because, let's be honest, it's only a matter of time before the cold season returns and things become super slow due to the nature of the coronavirus pandemic response.

There are more shops online if you don't mind taking the risk of purchasing from a retailer who is not Amazon.

Now that you have some inspiration, go out and start (continue) preparing for the most wonderful season of all: Haunt season.
