In 2009 after a loss to Texas A&M, Mike Leach went on a rant in the Texas Tech postgame press conference, "The coaches failed to make our points more compelling than their fat little girlfriends. Now their fat little girlfriends have some obvious advantages. For one thing, their fat little girlfriends are telling them what they want to hear, which is ‘how great you are’ and ‘how easy it's going to be’ and we had a bunch of people who wanted to win the football game but nobody wanted to play the football game."

Everything went downhill for Leach at Texas Tech after this moment. He was eventually fired from Texas Tech for getting crossways with the administration and a prominent parent of a player with a concussion.

More than a decade later, the fat little girlfriends are catching the brunt of Leach's aggression once again.

It all started on the field when Mike Leach and the Mississippi State Bulldogs lost a three-score lead against the Auburn Tigers. Leach went to the sideline and removed all of the chairs from the sideline that his receivers were sitting in. This wasn't a coincidence.

After the game, Leach clarified why he took the chairs down from the sideline, and it was those pesky fat little girlfriends again.

"Instead of playing hard, you want to sit behind a shade tree, eat a fish sandwich & drink a lemonade with your fat little girlfriend. We shot for that too often." Leach said after the win. Yeah, they won the game, but it took overtime after racing to the big lead.

There are rumors floating that Leach is interested in the open Auburn job.

I'm not saying that Leach is gone, but the last time he mentioned fat little girlfriends, had rumored interest in other jobs, and was being peak Mike Leach, he wasn't employed much longer.

Hopefully, his ALLEGED concussion protocol has improved since "sticking them in a dark closet" was the ALLEGED go-to option.
