It’s The Final Day For The 2014 Labor Day Heroes Blood Drive

On this final weekend of the summer, I urge you to take a few minutes out of your day today to donate the gift of life. United Blood Services is inviting the citizens of the South Plains to be Labor Day Heroes.

Everyone who makes a lifesaving blood donation today will be registered to win some great prizes.

Today, you'll have a shot at the RCA flat screen TV, and a pair of tickets for the Red Raiders season opener with the University of Central Arkansas.

The UBS center at 48th and University will be open today from 9 A.M.-2 P.M. and the donor coach will stop at Best Buy (on the West Loop) from 12:30-3:30 P.M.

The requirements for donating are simple:

You must be at least 16 years of age and be in good health.

Find the Hero in you. Donate at least 3 times a year!
