CritterFest

A great annual event that the Lubbock Science Spectrum puts on every year is CritterFest. It goes from June 20 to June 23, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. It features a variety of animals including elephants, alligators, crocodiles, camels, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, big snakes and tortoises, and more.

There will also be a petting zoo, pony and camel rides, live agility dog and police K-9 demonstrations, and a variety of shows to enjoy including ‘Pork Chop Revenue’ featuring pig performers that were on America’s Got Talent in 2020.

Pride Fest

If you are celebrating pride this month, then you will likely want to check out this event. Starting at noon, Pride Fest will take place over by LHUCA on June 22nd. In order to make it a safer event and keep protestors out, there is a $1 charge to get in.

It is an event that combines booths, activities, and food for a day of celebration.

Other Events

Other Lubbock events happening this weekend includes Midnight Cravings, Tween Snack tasting at Mahon Library, Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market, Wolfforth Farmers Market, DIY Wood Workshop, and more.

Keep an eye out each Friday for another set of Last-minute plans to get your weekend going right.
