Another Popular Lubbock Mexican Restaurant Unexpectedly Closes

Back in November 2022, I told you about a place opening in Lubbock from Midland and Odessa and everyone gets excited for it to come.

It's called Ajuua's Mexican Restaurant. When it first got here a lot of people raved about it and said they've always wanted it to come to Lubbock. Ajuua's owner Zeke Ramirez finally decided to open one here and it only lasted about a year of being open.

Ajuua's served up all the traditional Mexican dishes like nachos, fajitas, taco salads, quesadillas, enchiladas, etc. They also make seafood, steaks, chicken strips, breakfast and so much more. When you see their menu you'll be shocked at how much they have to offer.

I have checked them out once. I loved the big tv they had and that they had a wide menu of options but just never got the chance to go back a second time.

According to people online and their website the restaurant says it is permanently closed. Google has confirmed what we all feared. I also tried calling their number and it won't go through.

They have still been posting on their Odessa location so I guess that one is staying open. It is just the Lubbock location closing.
