New Lubbock Restaurant Bringing Multiple Types Of Food Together

If you have been looking for a place to get sushi to go, it looks like your wish has been granted.

A new sushi and Asian fusion restaurant is coming to Lubbock. SUSHI TO GO is a Burmese and Asian food place that combines the elegance of Japan with the delight of fresh ingredients.

They will be serving different options: Korean cuisine like kimchi soup, bulgogi, and dwaejigogi. Thai cuisine of tomyum seafood soup, Vietnam cuisine pho, and Burmese cusine like Mon Hin Ga, Oh Noh Kauswe, Kye OO, shan noodles and sabuti. They will also have house specials where you can order curry, fried rice, and fried flat noodles.

For their sushi, they have maki rolls, sashimi, nigiri hand rolls and more.

This news comes right after the announcement of a new sushi place coming to the old Texas Roadhouse location. This location is an all you can eat place called Umiya Sushi.

They will be open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. They are closed on Sundays. They plan to open on Monday, April 1st, 2024.

SUSHI TO GO is located at 6620 Milwaukee Ave, Lubbock, TX. This is the old Thai Kitchen Express location that opened back in 2022. Thai Kitchen's original location at 2302 Texas Ave, Lubbock, TX 79411 is still open.
