One of the best restaurants in Lubbock is celebrating its Grand Opening in Downtown Lubbock this week. And if you like great food and wine, you won't want to miss out on this event.

Chez Sami is a restaurant serving French cuisine that first opened in Wolfforth. It quickly became known for its great food, great service, and built a loyal following. In November of 2023, Chez Sami expanded and opened in Downtown Lubbock at 1219 Crickets Avenue. The original location in Wolfforth is still open.

My wife and I have been to Chez Sami several times and have never left hungry or disappointed. The food is great and I personally like how its BYOB, though the Downtown location will be transitioning away from BYOB eventually.

On Tuesday, January 23 Chez Sami in Downtown Lubbock will host its Grand Opening event. According to an event page on Facebook, there will be free hors d'oeuvres and even complimentary wine. Chef Jon Walter was on KFYO on Monday to discuss the Grand Opening and said that there will be a special prix fixe menu at an incredible price for those wanting to have dinner.

Celebrate food, wine, and a great local restaurant on Tuesday, January 23rd starting at 4pm during the Grand Opening Celebration of Chez Sami in Downtown Lubbock at 1219 Crickets Ave.

Chez Sami in Downtown Lubbock is also now open for lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 2pm. Dinner is served 5pm to 9pm.
