Townsquare Media's six radio stations have given a lucky listener a brand new big-screen 4K TV valued at $500 for our Light Up Lubbock contest.

All listeners had to do to enter was submit an amazing holiday light display from their home or office that rocked our socks off. After we looked through all the beautiful entries and debated who should win, we finally made our choice.

We contacted Christopher Diaz to let him know he had the best display. He said he was shocked, excited and can't wait to see the TV. Christopher told us he'd be gifting the TV to his son, who's a hardcore gamer and eager to upgrade his older TV to something more modern. The TV we're giving them will definitely do the trick.

We chose Christopher's house because you can tell he put a lot of hard work and effort into his home. He even has a little bit of everything -- from lights, inflatables, lasers and so much more. We were certainly impressed. Thank you, Christopher, for taking your time to make this beautiful display happen for the community and your neighbors.

It wasn't an easy choice for us to make because Lubbock does love to make the town merry and bright. When we drive around town at night, it's very cheerful this time of year. It's so fun for me to get to go see all the holiday displays and check out all the unique ways the community comes up with to make their displays different.

Christopher, we hope this TV brightens up your son's life. We're thankful to see how you're making your street a little bit brighter for the holidays. And thank you to everyone who entered the contest to make the year just a little bit brighter for us, the listeners and the town. We're grateful for all the entries we received in this year's Light Up Lubbock contest. And lastly, thanks to our sponsors for making this all possible.

We can't wait to see what all our listeners come up with next year. Merry Christmas and happy holidays, y'all!
