On the corner of 58th Street at Indiana Avenue in Lubbock sits a home with what many who live in the community know as the Smiling Bush

Lubbock's Smiling Bush got a makeover just in time for the holidays, featuring the face of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Tracy Moreno and crew members from Lawn Pros donate their time and energy to the resident Allison Robinson. Mrs. Robinson is facing challenges due to cancer and the good guys at Lawn Pros do what they can to help by bringing a smile to the faces of passers-by while they take care of her landscape.

Moreno said that he spends much of his time envisioning the next design, and the many ways that he can bring joy to one of the most visible landmarks in town. The bush has grown substantially in the last year and created some challenges with the finished product, especially the Santa hat, but Tracy was up to the challenge and knew just who to call.

Grandma came to the rescue and made sure that this Grinch wouldn’t stand without proper attire for Christmas. Measuring in at 22 feet around, the hat on top of The Grinch is now complete and ready for Lubbock to enjoy.

We would like to give a special shout out to Tracy Moreno and the crew at Lawn Pros. You guys are such amazingly kind and generous people for offering the time and attention that provide so many others with warm fuzzy feelings and, lest we forget, a great big smile.
