Police Arrest Lubbock Man Who Allegedly Tried to Inappropriately Touch Citibus Riders
A Lubbock man has been arrested after being accused of attempting to inappropriately touch several people on a Citibus.
Police were called at around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 30th to the 800 block of Broadway in reference to an intoxicated subject.
KAMC News reports that several employees reported the man, identified later as 31-year-old Gregory Salazar, was trying to grab people in the groin area and was making lewd comments. He was seen leaving the area, but later returned.
An officer located the pickup truck Salazar was seen exiting, but he wasn't inside. Later, the officer saw Salazar walking towards him. When Salazar noticed the officer, he turned around and walked in the opposite direction.
The officer told Salazar to turn around and place his hands behind his back, and he complied.
Salazar remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on charges of public intoxication.
