Texas Cafe Installs Bike Spots
Texas Cafe (3604 50th St) now has dedicated parking spots to accommodate several motorcycles, which solves the problem of either taking up an entire car-sized spot, figuring out how to share one with another bike, or potentially parking in an illegal/ not so safe place. It'll also help cars and trucks know exactly where to look for bikes.

Warm Weather Is Here, Let's Watch Out For Our Friends
Anytime is a good time to remember to look for folks out on two wheels, but with warmer weather, there's going to be more bikes on the road. Nobody ever wants to get into a wreck; it's expensive, a huge time-suck and hassle, but for those on a bike, it has a much higher likelihood of causing a serious injury or even death.
Remember to specifically and mindfully look for bikes (as our mind is trained to look for bigger vehicles). Look twice at intersections, and always check your blind spot when merging. And if you're following a bike, give extra distance between you and the motorcycle.
Happy bike season!
