Powerman 5000 Postpone Upcoming Lubbock Show to Tentative 2022

Powerman 5000 has postponed some of its 2021 tour dates, including their upcoming Friday, September 17th show in Lubbock, according to an email 94.5 FMX received from promoter Din Productions.
The tentative new date is scheduled for Friday, March 22nd, 2022. PM5K's website does show dates in early October for Dallas, San Antonio and El Paso, should you decide to make a trip out of seeing these guys.
Disappointed? Understandable. But there are many awesome shows happening soon here in Lubbock. The likelihood there's a band you'd love to see is quite high, so take your pick for a suitable replacement for your night of rock:
September 6th: Sublime with Rome & Dirty Heads, This is going to be the party rock show that closes out the summer with a bang.
September 16th: Otherwise
September 24th: FMX 39th Birthday Bash with In This Moment, Black Veil Brides & More.
September 29th: FMX 40th Birthday Bash with Volbeat and some really fun openers.
October 2nd: Butcher Babies
October 3rd: POD with From Ashes to New and All Good Things
October 6th: Nonpoint
October 15th: Ayron Jones
November 28th & 29th: ZZ Top
This doesn't take into account all the comedy, comic cons, stage shows, special film screenings and non-rock concerts that are also coming.
Having grown up in Lubbock, I've watched with joy as our city has gotten a cultural glow-up. But these things can only happen so long as there are folks to support these events. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for doing so. I want Lubbock to be the culturally rich center of West Texas/Eastern New Mexico that I know it can be.
