Recently Dumped Woman Grateful Facebook Memories Are Broken Today

Nothing quite like starting your morning off by clicking on the Facebook Memories tab, only to have your heart ripped out of your chest all over again.

"Look how cute we were in our matching outfits..."

It's pretty impossible not to take a look back over the years each day. Most of the time, you just come across a funny meme, cute family photos, or some pictures from when you were hot back in high school...

But, after a bad breakup, Facebook memories can be absolutely horrific. I'm not sure why I keep torturing myself with them, but it looks like the Facebook Gods saw fit to give me a damn break.

Today, November 9th, 2023, the Facebook Memories tab seems to be broken. I'm totally cool with it.

I can't be the only person who feels a little bit grateful they didn't have the opportunity to open those old wounds up again today. In fact, I think today is probably going to be the best day a lot of us have had in a long time. I vote we make November 9th a damn holiday.

Did you notice your memories didn't work today? I'm pretty sure there is no way that the entire collective of Facebook users neglected to post anything on November 9th for the last however many years we've all been using that site. Looks like Facebook had a little oopsy today.

If only the whole site could crash for a good week...the possibilities are endless. You might suddenly pick up a book and read it...get back into painting...learn a new instrument...

Meh.

Who am I kidding? We'd really just spend the entire week screaming into the void of another social site. Oh well.

Today is a good day. I'm going to enjoy it, and I hope you do too.
