Texas Tech Student Goes Redneck Wakeboarding in Flooded Lubbock Street [Watch]

Recent flooding in Lubbock has left a car on fire and roads impassable. It's also given rise to the perennial, if unsung (in Texas, anyway) sport of wakeboarding.

In the video above filmed by Texas Tech student Holly Huddleston, a guy hops on a wakeboard in one of Lubbock's many flooded streets, grabs a line attached to a pickup truck and cruises down the street. Near the end of the short clip, he even pulls off a trick. We think he can go pro.

Authorities have strongly advised Lubbock residents to avoid driving in flooded areas.
