Back in December 2021, I told y'all about this new place that opened up that raises registered Black Angus cattle for your seed stock and commercial cattle operations and how you can buy fresh-cut meat to cook.

Ring Bar Ranch, LLC raises their own Black Angus locally in Lubbock, with their land located in Happy, Texas. They process all the cattle on Lockney and Post. Ring Bar Ranch, LLC started their herd in 2015 and just opened their store right here in the Hub City to bring high-quality locally-raised Angus beef directly to the customer.

You can buy anything from a packet of ground to a whole processed beef and everything in between, which is really awesome if you’re looking for something different.

I tried this place once when my boyfriend bought us some ribeyes from there and they were very good. I would definitely go back because I love all things meat and the fresher it is, the better it is.

You’re also supporting a local family, which is great news as well. You can definitely tell not only when you get the meat, but also when you eat it, how much better it really is. If you’ve never had one before, you are missing out.

This new location is going to be great for the community and the business. They do have some new hours, opening Tuesday through Saturday.

You can find out more about them on their official website or check out their new location at 7420 82nd Street in Lubbock, Texas. You can also follow them on Facebook where they post what meats they have and even some tips on how to cook them. Just be careful before going to their page — it WILL make you hungry.
